Call for Papers & Presentations
Papers were invited on the conference themes:
• addressing global issues locally through collaborations between artists, communities
and local government
• the links between creative communities and civic engagement
• the ways creative processes can mobilize communities for positive social change
• cultural citizenship and cultural rights, as an aspect of a broader human rights agenda
An excellent number and diversity of proposals were received by the final deadline of April 30. The field was very competitive, and many strong proposals were not able to be accepted, given time limitations of the conference.
